Oslo Gardermoen Airport is the main and largest airport of the Norwegian capital. It is a hub for the airlines of Scandinavian Airlines System and Norwegian Air Shuttle. The airport has two runways, and is situated in 48km to north of the city. This structure appeared during the World War II on the place of airdrome, but it was put to rights and then opened in 1998, in Gardermoen. This area was used as a military training ground in the 18^th century.
